Minister of Justice Hon. Delroy Chuck and a team from his ministry, addressed pastors and administrators of East Jamaica Conference (EJC) at a Sensitization on Restorative Justice & Mediation seminar held at the Adventist church headquarters on February 16, 2017.
The team from his ministry was invited to speak to the pastors about restorative justice as a different framework for understanding and responding to crime by EJC Ministerial Fraternity president, Pastor Cornel Jackson and EJC Conference president Dr. Eric Nathan.
Presentations were made to the group by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Mrs. Carol Palmer and Restorative Justice Coordinator in the Ministry of Justice Mrs. Kahilah Whyte.
