We regret to announce the passing of Pastor Damion Lewis who died on September 30, 2018, after a brief illness. He was 42 years old.
Pastor Lewis died leaving his mother, two sisters, other relatives and friends and members of his church family to mourn his loss.
Despite all the efforts made by the team of medical doctors and nurses assigned to assist him during his recovery, he passed away early this morning with the hope of rising in the first resurrection when the Lord returns to set up his everlasting Kingdom.
On behalf of President Eric Nathan, administrators, directors and the pastoral staff of East Jamaica Conference, we use this opportunity to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to the family and friends of the late Pastor Damion Lewis. We invite the church to lift up the family in prayer during this period of loss.
Information relating to funeral arrangements will be sent at a later date.

My family and I wish to express our condolences to the family of Pastor Damian Lewis. A couple of years ago Pastor Lewis stayed at our home in Pembroke Pines, Florida, while he served as a literature evangelist in that area and surrounding neighborhoods.
He proved himself a diligent, hard working young man, who was clearly aware of his obligations and responsibilities and made every effort to honor them as best he could. He was well mannered, humble, had a deep love for Christ, and was grateful for favors extended to him. May his family be comforted, and may he rise to meet his LORD in the first resurrection.
I am so sorry for your loss, May God give you comfort and peace as you go through this difficult period of your life.
In His care.
Sister Lilly Williams
