Mandeville, Jamaica…Nigel Coke

A total of 246 delegates are set to participate in the upcoming Fourth (Third Quinquennial) Session of the Jamaica Union Conference, scheduled for February 17-18, 2026, at the Mandeville Seventh-day Adventist Church in Manchester.

One of the highlights of the Session is the use of the Minutes Voting Platform, an electronic voting platform used by the Inter-American Division (IAD) at the General Conference Session in July 2025. It will be the first time in the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Jamaica that electronic voting will be used to reach decisions at a Session.

Registration for all delegates will commence at 7:00 a.m. and will continue until 9:30 a.m., with the first meeting of the business session to be called at 10:00 a.m. on February 17.

The Union Conference Session is called to:

  1. Receive reports from the officers and various departments.
    2. Elect administrators and departmental directors to serve for the Quinquennium
    ending December 2030.
    3. Consider revisions and changes in the Union Conference’s Constitution and
    By-laws.
    4. Transact such other business as may be properly placed before the delegates.

Delegates are selected by the Conferences and Institutions of the Union, according to the terms of the Constitution and By-laws of the Jamaica Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

All duly appointed delegates are invited to be present, in person, at this Union
Conference Session.
