Roy Blake (left), a resident of Ben Town, Comma Pen, in St Elizabeth, accepts a food package from Pastor Wenford Henry, director of Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Jamaica, on July 9, 2024 as the agency, in collaboration with ADRA Inter-American Division, and the Jamaica Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, provide relief to Jamaicans affected by Hurricane Beryl, which battered the island’s south coast on July 3, 2024.

The food package distribution initiative is valued at US$20,000. A similar effort is planned for Clarendon. ADRA is the humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
