The Communication Department of the Inter-American Division will host the first in a series of COMMSESSIONS which starts on July 5, 2016.
The purpose of the discussion is to enhance organizational communication in the church through various training sessions and exchange ideas with leaders at all levels, emphasizing the importance of communicating “locally.” This means having a global vision and effectively implementing the initiatives of the world church at the local level, while at the same time being involved in the process of sharing vital information of local activities and special events with the world church.
In addition to training and exchanging information, each training session will seek to enhance the vision of identity, collaboration, innovation, creativity and the use of emerging media.
FORMAT: The sessions will be transmitted online through the IAD web channel, and will include practical short talks.
FREQUENCY: To take place every four months during the first week of March, July and November.
TARGET: The sessions will be directed to church leaders at all levels, including administrators union and local field departmental directors and district pastors, as well as Adventist communicators.
