The Fourth (Third Quinquennial) Session of the Jamaica Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (JAMU), scheduled for December 3-4, 2025, at the Northern Caribbean University (NCU) Gymnatorium, has been postponed. The new dates and venue for the Session are February 17-18, 2026, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Mandeville.
The postponement was confirmed on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at a meeting of the Executive Committee of JAMU at its headquarters in Mandeville.
The date change was necessary due to the passage of Hurricane Melissa on October 28, 2025, which caused significant damage to homes, churches, and businesses, and disrupted telecommunications, especially in the western part of the Island.
The Session of the Union is constitutionally due every quinquennium (five years), where delegates, who are selected from each Conference/Region, meet to:
- Receive reports from the officers and various departments
- Elect administrators and departmental directors to serve for the Quinquennium ending December 2030
- Consider revisions and changes in the Union Conference’s Constitution and By-laws.
- Transact such other business as may be properly placed before the delegates.

Good morning and noted. Thanks
I am praying that the Union Officers and Departmental Directors continue to give support to the churches throughout Jamaica and also greater collaboration with the Union and the youths.
