Assistant Commissioner of Police Assan Thompson called on the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church to assist in the fight against crime by helping to reduce the tolerance level of Jamaicans to crime, when he addressed church members at the East Jamaica Conference (EJC) Camp Meeting held during the period December 14 – 18, 2016, at the Kencot SDA Church.

The crime fighter was invited by the leadership of the SDA church in EJC to share how the church can assist the police to reduce crime in Jamaica.

Pastor Eric Nathan, president of the SDA Church in EJC, told Thompson that he and his church stands ready to work with the police to make Jamaica a better place.
