She was 100 years, 4 months and 14 days old when she died. She had served the Blue Hole Seventh-day Adventist Church for over 70 of those years.
Kathleen McKenzie, who died on the 9th July, 2017, is remembered as a quiet and humble Christian.
She worked in the Sabbath School Department of her Church, and was a member of the Church Choir as well as a Deaconness.
When choir gowns were to be made, it was Kathleen who was the fashion designer. At one time she was even asked to assist with leading the Church Choir at the Ginger Ridge Church—a daughter church to Blue Hole.
